I am a sticks and stones type of witch, embracing the raw and natural elements of magic. Over the years, I have acquired various labels that reflect my diverse spiritual journey. Here’s a little insight into a few of those…

As a Wiccan High Priest, I was initiated into Gardnerian Wicca in the early 2000s, embarking on a profound path of ritual and magic. Throughout my journey, I have had the honor of working with some remarkable witches, including my own coven that took form around 2014. Along the way, I have been blessed with guidance from esteemed Elders of the Craft, even though I am still considered one of the younger members.

My involvement in ceremonial magic predates my Wiccan journey, and I hold the distinction of being an initiate of a hermetic ceremonial order. Since my formative years, I have delved into the realms of Grimoire and ceremonial magic, immersing myself in the practice. I cherish memories of performing Goetic rituals in abandoned buildings, embarking on the transformative Abramelin rituals, and ardently studying the hermetic works of Franz Bardon.

Beyond my magical pursuits, I studied integrative psychotherapy, psychology, and clinical hypnosis. This foundation allows me to integrate psychological insights and therapeutic approaches into my spiritual practice, fostering holistic well-being.

As a lifelong student of the Craft and the Mysteries, I have dedicated over 15 years to teaching ‘Western Esoteric Herbalism.’ I have delved into the historical use of plants and herbs in magic, reviving much ancient wisdom and practices. I even owned a company that specialised in recreating and selling historic and occult recipes, bridging the gap between the past and present practitioners.

My journey is one of perpetual learning, growth, and exploration. I strive to share my knowledge, experiences, and insights with others. Helping people to unlock their potential through the transformative power of magic and spirituality.

Modern.Witchery started as an instagram account.

It was initially set up in response to a growing trend of Instagram Witchcraft Influencers. Seeing the increase in hashtags purporting witchyvibes or instawitch, I felt I wanted to contribute something for those that were searching for more in their spiritual calling. Something that was informative, yet inspired the same way that a ‘witchyvibes’ photo does.

@Modern.Witchery on Instagram was created with the sole aim of providing bite-sized information for ‘those that stand between two worlds’, or follow a witchy path. It attracted a small following of like-minded people, and after a while a few reached out to me for instruction or training.

After some time away from instagram I considered what the next steps of Modern.Witchery should be, and promptly decided a Podcast would be great. However, most of what I want to teach is visual and there’s no shortage of fantastic Witchy podcasts (*shout out to the Witch Wave!!*) so I was thrown into the world of YouTube…
